Haiti Mission Trip

Haiti Mission Trip

Salt Lake Baptist Association in partnership with Baptist Mission Southeast Haiti invites up to 15 people (team total of 20) to join us for a mission trip from August 26-31. We have three objectives for this trip.

  1. Conduct a training for local area pastors in expository preaching and teaching.
  2. Conduct a Vacation Bible School for the children of the Isaiah Children's Home (home for at-risk children who are orphans or have no parental support outside of this Christian home).
  3. Conduct an evening evangelistic meeting in the village of Royal. This village currently doesn't have a Gospel-centered church.

This ministry is located in the village Guitton on the outskirts of Arcahaie, Haiti. Please consider this invitation for you and/or your church, especially if you have been looking for an opportunity to get your church involved in meaningful overseas missions. The ministry has existed since 2011, started after the earthquake of 2010 that killed an estimate of up to 300,000 people.

The cost will be approximately $1,200 (all-inclusive apart from your own personal spending money for things such as souvenirs). SLBA churches that are currently partnering in an ongoing way with this ministry are Crossroads Church in Sandy, Alta Canyon Baptist Church in Sandy, and FBC Provo. Please feel free to reach out to any of these church's pastors or Ron Clement for more information. If you have interest in this trip there is a $200 non-refundable deposit. From there, we will make a plan to have a more detailed informational meeting where we will discuss deposits and finance plans for this trip.

Thank you for your consideration. If this trip is not possible for you, but you would like more information about the ministry as a whole, please feel free to reach out to Russ Robinson, Pastor of FBC Provo as he is on the board of this ministry. His phone number is 801-367-8682 and email is wrussrobinson@gmail.com.
